Here at The Queens Head we have been working hard to make your visit as safe and comfortable as possible whether inside or in our garden.  We have incorporated the latest official advice regarding the One Metre Plus Social Distancing into our alterations and ask that you take note of any requests or signs relating to this new and challenging situation for us all, including possible delays upon your arrival.  We recommend booking ahead whether coming to dine or drink with us, please be punctual for reservations but bear in mind that a little extra time may be needed to receive and show you to your table.  We ask that all our customers on arrival use the Garden door from the main car park for entry to the pub and gardens.
 

Before you telephone to make a booking please help us to streamline the process by letting us know:

  • Your contact telephone number
  • The day and date of your intended visit
  • The time of your arrival – We arrange bookings at 10 minute intervals, maximum stay 2 hours
  • Mobility issues for anyone in your party
  • Specil dietary requirements for anyone in your party
  • If you require a high-chair
  • If you are bringing a dog (maximum 2 per party)

Please note that owing to social distancing the layout of tables inside and outside of the pub has changed. If you have
a preference of where you would like to sit you can let us know but bear in mind we may not be able to satisfy requests of this nature.

Under the current regulations we cannot permit drinking at the bar and we will be serving exclusively to table for all food and drink orders.  Contactless payment when ordering will be preferred though not mandatory.

Our kitchen has now reopened and we have made adjustments to our menu to take into account the present environment, please check back to see the latest updates. When making a reservation the length of time for the booking is a maximum of two hours unless agreed otherwise. We will maintain a grace period of 15 minutes for bookings, otherwise, owing to the need to mitigate queuing issues we may cancel your booking.
